HSHS St. John's Children's Hospital presents Springfield Ballet's The Little Mermaid
The Springfield Ballet Company performs The LIttle Mermaid, based on the classic story by Hans Christian Anderson.
Join The Little Mermaid on her journey under the sea to go to the surface where she falls in love. Watch as the Sea Witch takes The Little Mermaid's voice as payment for the legs she will give her. Be enthralled by the amazing waterfall on the beach where the Prince is tricked by the Sea Witch. Be transported to the beautiful palace of the prince where all will be revealed and the Sea Witch is unmasked. Will The Little Mermaid win the prince's heart away from the evil Sea Witch disguised as a beautiful young maiden?

Springfield Ballet is a professional ballet company with paid dancers from across the country and world. In keeping with the mission and vision of the Springfield Ballet, open auditions are still held for local dancers ages 4 and up giving them an amazing opportunity to join the professional dancers on stage to bring the production to life.
