This performance features vocalists Justin Johnson and Kinsey Peotter and pianist Mark Gifford.
Justin Johnson is a transplant to Springfield from North Carolina. He holds a degree in Music from Campbell University and teaches private voice and has also taught high school choral arts. He has been seen in HCFTA’s productions of Little Shop of Horrors (Voice of Audrey Two) and Dreamgirls (C.C. White) and in the Muni’s productions of The Prince of Egypt (Jethro), Cinderella (Sebastian), Hunchback of Notre Dame (Father Dupin) and Jersey Boys (Hal Miller). For Springfield Theatre Centre, he’s been in several productions and was the vocal director for their production of Jesus Christ Superstar and will be vocal directing Irving Berlin’s White Christmas in December. You can also find him singing with the Springfield Choral Society!
Kinsey Peotter She has been seen at STC as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Alice in The Adams Family, Diana in Next to Normal and Amneris in Aida. She played Ursula in The Little Mermaid at the Muni and has been seen as Bea in Something Rotten at Peoria Players along with many other shows in the Bloomington area. She is originally from Arizona and California and was a resident actor for The Hale Centre Theatre and won first place in the music theatre initiative with the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival as well as second place in the Irene Ryan competition. She works as the Executive Administrator for Chatham Dental Center.
