The UIS Performing Arts Center is a premier central Illinois venue for Broadway tours, concerts, comedy, dance, family entertainment, and other ticketed live events. Located at the University of Illinois Springfield, we provide a professional, well-equipped facility with experienced staff dedicated to supporting successful engagements from load-in through performance and settlement.
Our venues include the 1,735-seat Sangamon Auditorium, designed for a wide range of touring productions, as well as the UIS Studio Theatre, a flexible black box space available for smaller-scale performances and intimate presentations. Across all spaces, our team provides comprehensive front-of-house operations, ticketing services, marketing support, production assistance, and patron services.
The UIS Performing Arts Center presents events through a variety of engagement models, including facility rentals and co-promotions, based on the needs of the artist, agent, or presenting partner.
