A Dance Party for Young and Old
Come dance the morning away at Play Date: Tiny Disco – Halloween! This special dance party is part of our Play Date series, designed for very young audiences (ages 0–5) and their caregivers, offering gentle, interactive arts experiences that invite curiosity, movement, and play. At Play Date: Tiny Disco – Halloween!, you and your tiny dancer can start your day on the dance floor with a lively mix of kid-friendly favorites and throwback hits that grown-ups will love too. This high-energy, drop-in style Play Date invites families to move, groove, and celebrate together in a fun, relaxed environment.
Costumes are encouraged (but not required), so come ready to dance, play, and enjoy a morning of music and movement. We’ll take care of the disco vibes—you just bring your dancing shoes!
Tickets are $5 per person and are designed with families in mind; a ticket to this event covers your entry into the Tiny Disco anytime between 9:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Families are welcome to come and go during the dance party, creating a flexible experience that works for their schedule and their child’s needs.
Events take place in our UIS Studio Theatre and are designed to be inclusive and responsive—caregivers and children are encouraged to move, respond, and participate in ways that feel comfortable for them. A conference room outside of the Studio Theatre will also be available for families before, during, and after the morning’s activities.
