Travel across Greece through its music—from the spiritual resonance of Byzantine chant and the lyrical beauty of traditional village songs to the passionate urban expressions of rebetika and laïka. Through the interplay of music and dance, audiences will encounter the many voices of Greek musical heritage: songs of celebration and remembrance, longing and resilience, community and everyday life.
