This performance is thoughtfully designed for individuals with sensory needs. With a relaxed environment—featuring no sudden lighting changes or loud noises—audiences of all ages are welcome to enjoy and engage at their own pace.

In this collaborative performance, the Rebetiki Roots Ensemble—featuring UIS Music faculty member Yona Stamatis—joins the Springfield International Folk Dancers to explore the joy of live music and dance. Through performances, demonstrations, and opportunities for participation, audiences are invited to experience music and movement from around the world, focused primarily on Greece and the Balkans.

Audience members will even have the chance to get up and dance, creating a welcoming, interactive experience in a space free of shushing and judgment.
